drug testing at work or for benefits is not allowed

drug testing at work or for benefits is not allowed

Just a reminder that drug testing at your workplace or school(grade or university/college) or to get money from government social programs(ex: welfare) is a crime without evidence of drug abuse or use. But then again, Why should your benefits be cut off for having medical conditions? Such as, 'addiction'.
But of course being an alcoholic is somehow allowed in some cases(wine or beer or hard stuff). And further of course is all those legal prescriptions are somehow allowed. Then there are people getting methadone for their past drug abuse, who may not be able to take a drug test that would show 100% 'clean'. Then there are people who go to partys and don't smoke marijuana, but the air is full of smoke. Then of course there are people who look real bad, but they have a medical condition(ex: lupus for red blemishes on face). Poppy seeds from bagels. Insomnia.
Oh how many things that make a person look like a drunky or junky.

It is simple law. Show evidence of a crime or be sued for attacking the person with a cup or syringe.

So funny.

Republican wants to mandate drug testing for people getting welfare(tax payer funded programs). So Democrat then roughly says, 'well if you want to drug test people who receive taxpayer funds, well heres a bill tabled, so that politicians will also get drug tested as well'.
HaHa. Can't be discriminating, now can we......

A follow up: Seems politicians are exempt from the laws everyone else has to abide by. Can't have a two tiered system of 'peasants' and 'overlords'.

....because the state legislature is exempt from the requirements of the state’s open records laws...
...Thus, lawmakers could conceivably pass House Bill 677 secure in the knowledge that, if any of them ever did fail a drug test, that failure wouldn’t necessarily ever have to become public knowledge...

Another follow up: A Georgia Republican lawmaker, who wants unconstitutional drug testing of Welfare recipients, gets arrested for driving over the legal alcohol limit of .08BAC.

Even when Florida was drug testing welfare recipients(before the Feds shut them down), the tests showed such a tiny amount of welfare recipients with drugs in their systems(roughly 3%), that drug testing is bogus and just used to attack innocent people who are not 1%'ers in life. And we can't be discriminating based on social status.
