age discrimination is a crime
Yet another reminder to police and politicians, that discrimination based on age is a crime.

British Columbia’s human rights code prohibits discrimination based on age. That applies to providing any service, including policing services and access to public celebrations. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects against discrimination based on age. The Charter also protects mobility rights to move about freely and rights of peaceful assembly.
Notice the last line? So why did you allow an officer or 'rent a cop' to search you on the street? A crime was committed against you and you need to report it and press for charges. Do it within one week and not a one year delay, which you will forget about and the criminal actions will continue against your fellow peoples.
And don't forget that the officer will try to uphold his criminal action, using the term 'safety'. Which is the common answer to all crimes against the Sheeple.
The age discrimination also applies to all those towns who think that 'curfews' are a sane or legal practice, in order to deal with policing that is not of any use, when officers don't 'walk the beat' and spend their time driving, looking for speeders, instead of dealing with issues that require more than just a quick ticket. The government would prefer that the police avoid clogging up our failing court systems with cases that require more than 5 minutes of court time.
Don't forget Mr. or Ms. Mayor, you can look at your towns police duty logs, to ensure that the problems that you may be having in your town, are not caused by the fact that no police are on duty in your town at certain times or holidays. Or the standard 'paperwork' time, at the end of shift, that can leave a large hole in the duty shift, due to no overlap in start times.
Oh but of course officers have their orders to cut costs.
Or saving fuel and tire wear by parking in the middle of the road, without any emergency lights on(safety hazard), and treating all drivers as drunks.
Sure there are officers who want to be respectful of their communities that they serve in, but when orders come down from above to do a certain thing and avoid other things, well the system collapses and innocent people get treated like criminals in the name of Tyranny and corruption.

There was a town in the U.S. that removed their speed cameras. Sure 3 times as many people now drive over the speed limit, but accident statistics did not change. And the cameras are usually deployed stating that the cameras will cut down on accidents. Hmmmm.
Red light cameras tend to cause more rear end accidents at intersections as well. Some red light cameras, when deployed, also show a change in the 'yellow light' timing, which results in a shortened yellow light safety zone for light changes, which results in more red light tickets. Corruption and profit go hand in hand.
******************
Wake up Sheeple and fix the system. Without you upholding your Rights and Freedoms, we are all doomed to be criminal suspects forever.

Students Rights. Don't be abused in the school system, due to not knowing your Rights.

As an added note: For those business's and malls that have put up those 'high pitched noise devices', that generally only people who are under 20 years of age can hear, in order to deter Human Youths from the area... What would you think about being tortured by a device like it yourselves? Those devices could be considered a torture device under various Worldwide treaties against subjecting people to assault and torture.
Some people over 20 years of age can hear them and it is very painful.

On Aug. 15 2011, at approximately 6 p.m., Franz(24 years old) was meeting her mother at the SkyTrain station and walked south, past the CIBC entrance/exit, when she was overcome by a strange noise.
"As soon as I walked out of the doors from Metrotown, I was overcome with this horrendous pain in my ears, my brain felt as if it was being scrambled, I couldn't move, and I can honestly say I felt incapacitated," said Franz. "As I was outside, unable to move and in pain that I can not even describe, a man came up to me and asked me if I was OK, I shook my head, no, and he helped me back in the mall. He explained to me that he thinks there may be a "high frequency" noise being used outside to deter the birds, as during that time they had a flower display outside atop by the entrance."
